SSO with 64-bit Studio
If you have installed the 64-bit version of Studio, you might need to add the 64-bit SSO libraries and configure 64-bit Winshuttle to work.
The following libraries ensure that SSO works when 64-bit Studio is in GUI scripting mode.
Authentication type |
SSO Library on Windows 64-bit with SapGui 32-bit |
SSO Library on Windows 64-bit with Winshuttle Transaction 64-bit |
Kerberos |
C:\windows\system32\gsskrb5.dll |
gx64krb5.dll (Win64 bit- on AMD Athlon64/Opteron) gi64krb5.dll (Win64 bit on Itanic) |
NTLM |
C:\windows\system32\gssntlm.dll |
gx64ntlm.dll (Win64 bit- on AMD Athlon64/Opteron) gi64ntlm.dll (Win64 bit on Itanic) |
You can find the 64-bit SSO libraries for Windows in the folder %windir%\system32, or you can search for them on the SAP site (logon required).
Configure Studio for SSO
- Click the File tab.
- Click Options, and then click SAP Settings.
- In the SNC Library box, click Browse and locate your config file. Click OK.
If SSO is enabled on the SAP system, all of the information should already be in place when you log on. If you are unable to log on, however, you may need to provide additional information.
- In the SAP GUI list of SAP systems, right-click the system, click Properties, and then click the Network tab.
- Make sure that the Activate Secure Network Communication box is checked, and note the value in the SNC Name box.
- In Studio v12 and later, when you are logging on to SAP, click Advanced SAP Logon.
- Click Add System.
- Enter the system details.
- Check the Use SSO box and enter the Partner name.
Note: If you change the name of the .dll file, open the SAP Settings tab in the Options box and browse to the file with the new name.
