What's New - Features and Enhancements
Release: May, 2019
The best practice is to run the same version of Studio, Foundation, and the Winshuttle Function Module.
For Winshuttle Studio finance and master data templates, see Studio templates on the Winshuttle Community page.
Studio with Connect only
Cross-linking Query and Transaction Scripts
You can download and upload data (or upload and download data) in a single step by cross-linking Query and Transaction scripts, when Excel is your data source. For example, when updating pricing, you can use Query formulas to calculate a new price.
When opening published child scripts from the Add-in, the script icon, script details, and script run settings will be the same as those of the parent script.
Also in the Add-in, you can schedule run cross-linked scripts.
For more information, see the Cross-link Scripts page for Transaction and Query.

Query also supports sorting data which has been downloaded to Excel from SAP.
Conversion Exit
Conversion Exit is supported on the field level, enabling the use of formatting operations such as zero padding. For more information, see the "Select the fields" section on the Choose Query Tables and Fields page. (For Studio with Foundation/User Governance, see Choose Query Tables and Fields.)
GOS Attachment Option
There is a new GOS attachment option in Studio, available when running the Winshuttle Function Module (WFM).

Enable Detailed Task List
A new Foundation Preference, Enable Detailed Task List, used with the Excel Add-In task list, allows you to view different custom workflow libraries and detailed tasks listed under those libraries. You can:
- Prioritize tasks and sort them by selecting a column header; then, you can approve tasks in order of priority.
- Choose the columns which will be visible in the table in each Document library.
For more information, please see Foundation Settings - Preferences in the Foundation Online Help.
Validation Support for BAPI Scripts on Production SAP Systems
Script developers can choose to use BAPI scripts as validation scripts, allowing the scripts to be validated before submission to a workflow. For more information, see Validation Script.
Manage Supporting Documents
If issues are discovered at any step in the workflow process, the person preparing journals can edit supporting documents to resolve those issues. For more information, see Manage Supporting Documents.
Sign Out from the Add-in
From the Add-in, you can sign out from all open Excel instances. After signing out, close all open Excel instances (they will not close automatically). For more information, see Sign Out from the Add-in.
