Create a data connection

Complete this task to create a connection to any supported data source.

Expand the secondary navigation panel, and click Connections .
On the Connections page, click + Create Connection.
On the drop-down menu, choose the connection type.
On the create connection panel, configure the connection settings.

Optional: Click the Test button to confirm that the connection works.
If the connection is successful, a confirmation message is displayed.

Note: Testing a data connection is optional. You can save the connection without testing it or if the test fails.
Click the Save and Continue button.
