Edit a data connection

Complete this task to edit settings for an existing data connection.

After you complete this procedure, you will have to reenter credentials required to access a data source.
  1. Expand the secondary navigation panel, and click Connections Image of Connections icon.
  2. On the Connections page, find the connection that you want to edit.
  3. In the Connection column, click the shortcut menu , then click Edit.
    Tip: To filter connections by connection name or type, enter any portion of a connection name or type in the Search box . This displays only those connections that match the search string in the Connection or Type column.
  4. On the edit connection panel, edit the connection settings.

    Note: You must enter authentication credentials (password or token) to test or save changes to a data connection.
  5. Optional: Click the Test button to confirm that the connection works.
    If the connection is successful, a confirmation message is displayed.
    Note: Testing a data connection is optional. You can save the connection without testing it or if the test fails.
  6. Click the Save Changes button.
