The data volume is defined by the number of rows in the data. The unexpected
changes—addition or deletion of rows in the data, can impact the overall decision-making.
Volume rule configuration helps to generate alerts for these unexpected changes.
The image below shows the graphical representation of volume alert. The X-axis shows the
period and Y-axis shows the number of rows. In this example, a critical alert is
generated when there is a drop in the row count from 100 rows to 15 rows over a period
