Generate content and outbound messages

Configure Outbound Profiles to package and send messages using content from Generate. Here are some considerations:

Create separate Outbound Profiles for email and SMS messages.
Choose real-time or batch mode.
Choose the folder locations where the content is stored for populating the email and SMS messages.

EngageOne™ Deliver supports three types of email messages. Here are some examples:

A plain text email body for email clients that do not support HTML.
An HTML email body for display in email clients that do support HTML.
Any number of PDF attachments.

EngageOne™ Compose Series 5 outputs multiple streams in a single job, so it can format all of the email parts in a single job, from a single design template. EngageOne™ Compose version 5.3 and later can be used with EngageOne™ Deliver to:

Send HTML email
Send Multipart/alternative (text & HTML) email
Send email messages with multiple static or personalized attachments in a single run
Special considerations are needed to ensure that the eHTML produced by Generate displays correctly in email clients. For more information, see the Designer User’s Guide.

EngageOne™ Deliver can be configured to package and send content coming from non-Designer/Generate systems into email or SMS messages. Contact EngageOne Professional Services if you require advice on processing non-Designer/Generate content through EngageOne™ Deliver.
