Supported web browsers

The following is a list of browsers that may be used to run the EngageOne 4.4 Interactive application:

Internet Explorer 11 (running in highest compatibility mode)
Google Chrome
Mozilla Firefox
Microsoft Edge

Note: For browsers running under pre-Windows 10 operating systems: if the Interactive Editor ActiveX control is to be downloaded and installed directly through the browser, or if you wish to use the Interactive Editor desktop program, then Windows update KB2999226 must be installed.

Interactive Editor - ActiveX support on Windows 10 SAC and Windows 11 versions

Following the withdrawal of Internet Explorer browser on Windows 10 SAC versions from June 2022, the use of the Interactive ActiveX Editor on Windows 10 SAC and Windows 11 versions is available only within Microsoft Edge's Internet Explorer mode using Edge settings page:

Copy the following URL into your Microsoft Edge browser:

edge://settings/defaultBrowser

Set Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode to Allow.
Add the Interactive Client base URL to Edge's Internet Explorer mode pages.
Restart Edge and reload the base URL.
