<PAGESIZE>

When used in the <OUTPUT> group for AFPDS or PDF print streams, <PAGESIZE> controls the page size of the output pages; otherwise, for AFP and Metacode printers, the <PAGESIZE> tag specifies the printable area and physical page dimensions for the input print stream. Enrichment uses the <PAGESIZE> tag to calculate placement when adding objects to rotated single-up AFP pages and when producing multiple-up output.

The <PAGESIZE> tag is necessary only when the control file contains the Add tag group.

Note: The <PAGESIZE> tag pageX and pageY parameters do not serve the same purpose as the Mup tag group <MSIZE> tag pageX and pageY parameters. The <PAGESIZE> tag parameters specify the size of the complete printable area on one physical page, while the <MSIZE> tag parameters specify the size of one logical page.
