Using Templates

Information about using templates for manual activities is given in the Using EnterWorks pages regarding those activities, see Using EnterWorks: Imports, Exports and Syndication.

Managing Templates

The templates that can be managed in the New UI are:

• Import Templates

• Export Templates

All EnterWorks templates can be accessed and managed through the Classic UI as described in the Precisely EnterWorks Classic System Administration Guide .

• Import Templates

• Export Templates

• Exchange Templates

• Syndication Templates

• Publication Templates

Generate Import Export Template Widget

The Generate Import Export Template widget allows the user to generate an empty file to be used to import data into an EnterWorks repository. The administrator configures the file by selecting an import template to define the columns in the file, and decides which category attributes will be included along with the global attributes specified by the import template. The administrator can also configure the widget to allow the user to choose which category attributes to include.
