Using Shortcut Keys

You can perform many functions by using the shortcut keys listed on the menu to the right of their corresponding commands. For example, you can insert a comment template by pressing CTRL+Q.

Visual Engineer supports the following shortcut keys:

  • CTRL+Q Add a comment template to the current line.
  • CTRL+E Launch Edit Assistant.
  • CTRL+A Launch Application Overview.
  • CRTL+M Open a window that displays Enrichment messages.

Visual Engineer also supports these common shortcuts:

  • CTRL+N Create new file.
  • CTRL+O Open file.
  • CTRL+S Save file.
  • CTRL+P Print.
  • CTRL+Z Undo.
  • CTRL+X Cut.
  • CTRL+C Copy.
  • CTRL+V Paste.
  • CTRL+ → Next word.
  • CTRL+ ← Previous word.
  • CTRL+HOME Top of document.
  • CTRL+END Bottom of document.
  • HOME Beginning of line.
  • END End of line.
