Archiving and MS-TNEF handling

If an email is received with content-type "application/ms-tnef", as is generally the case for Rich Text emails sent from MS Outlook, EngageOne Deliver converts them into a regular multipart MIME formatted message for standard conversion processing. If the RTF contains embedded images, the RTF body is converted into PDF together with the embedded images.

Note: Inclusion of embedded images within the RTF is highly dependent on how the original TNEF was composed. Hence, encoding of embedded images can be unpredictable, even when viewing content in MS Outlook. If you are concerned about the accuracy of TNEF conversion, you can enable Check Conversion and/or set Archive Format to require whole original message to be archived in Inbound Profile so that you will always have the opportunity to view and / or archive the whole original message..
