About field mapping

The field mapping page will only be available once an EngageOne video project has been assigned, and is accessible by clicking on the required video data field item on the template's video configuration page or, by selecting the Save & Configure Mappings option during video association.

You will be required to make the necessary mapping between the video's input field and the corresponding fields defined in the template's data definition. Certain video inputs may be mandatory, this is denoted by an asterisk to the left of the input name; Other items may be optional. Click on the required video field to start the mapping process, refer to Mapping template fields for further information.

Refer to Data type compatibility for details on data compatibility between the template's data field and the video input.

Note: that array data types are not currently supported. If a video has an Array input, this will be displayed in the field mapping list, but you will not be able to map to it. Contact your EngageOne Video administrator if your field mapping list contains mandatory array fields.
