Portal Setup

For managing external user credentials and user authentication, Winshuttle leverages the Azure Functions as a hosting provider and Azure Active Directory B2C for external user management. We use Azure Relay Hybrid Connections to communicate with the Evolve server. The Portal UI is hosted on Azure Static Website, a Portal service is deployed as an Azure function and Winshuttle's ‘hybrid worker’.

Winshuttle provides External and Internal Portals. To use and design a Portal, you will need to setup the Portal, setup App in Azure B2C for external Portal, and add IDP configurations for B2C.

Contact Microsoft to purchase the three Azure services that will be required before you attempt to setup a portal intended to be used by external users (people without user credentials on the company’s internal network).
