Content Manager New Rule Editor
On the New Rule Editor page you can specify the components of a rule.
To access the new rule editor
On the New Rule Setup page, click Next. The New Rule Editor page displays.
To specify components of a new rule
- On the New Rule Editor page, edit the Version Description.
- Select components of Rule Parameter Sets as follows:
- Select a Meta Data object from the drop down list.
- Select an Operator from the drop down list.
- Enter the criteria (operand) on which this rule will act.
- Optionally click the plus button to add an additional parameter set, and then select/enter its components.
- Repeat from step 2 for each additional parameter set you need.
- Arrange the rules in the order in which they are to be applied.

Optionally edit the Condition under which this rule will apply, and then click Next. The Rule Version Verification page is displayed.

Review the rule details on the verification page and click Submit. The Rules Revisions page is displayed and provides a confirmation message.
- To remove a Rule Parameter Set, click the red delete button beside the set you want to remove.
- You can set one of two conditions: If any criteria are met, or if all criteria are met. When rules are selected in the Template Version Editor, you are able to set up additional conditions to govern their use.
- Activation of rules accomplished on the Rules Revisions page. Refer to the Rules Revisions topic in the Content Manager help section.
