Content Manager Proofing Search

On the Proofing Search page you can search for template versions that have been submitted for proofing, access test results and accept/reject template versions with specific statuses as follows:
  • Pending - Has been submitted to a proofing queue - Available operations: Reject
  • Proofing - Proofing tests are running - Available operations: Reject
  • Complete - Proofing tests have completed - Available operations: Accept, Reject
  • Accepted - Has been reviewed and accepted in the Proofing section - Available operations: None
  • Rejected - Has been reviewed and rejected in the Proofing section - Available operations: None

To access the proofing search page

  1. Click Content Manager in the main navigation bar.

    A secondary navigation bar displays.

  2. Click Proofing in the secondary navigation bar. The Proofing Search page displays.

To search for a template version that has been submitted for proofing

  1. Access the Proofing Search page.
  2. Enter or select at least one search term.

  3. Click Submit.

    Search results display in a table that might span several pages depending on the number of results.

Points to note:
  • To narrow search results, enter information into more search fields. To expand results, remove information from some search fields.
  • You can use an asterisk to perform a wild card search. Enter one or more characters and an asterisk in a field, and then click Search. Results return all versions having the same leading characters in that field.

To accept a version

  1. Perform a search on the Proofing Search page.

  2. Click Accept for the version you want to approve.

    The status changes to Accepted, the Results list updates to display the change, and the status change is communicated to Templates.

Note: Only templates that have completed testing are able to be accepted.

To reject a version

  1. Perform a search on the Proofing Search page.

  2. Click Reject for the version you want to reject. A pop up dialog is displayed.

  3. Enter the rejection reason and click Submit. The status changes to Rejected and the status change is communicated to Templates.

Points to note:
  • If you cancel rejecting, there is no status change.
  • You can reject template regardless of whether or not it's been tested.

To access the proofing version test/results for a version

  1. Perform a search on the Proofing Search page.

  2. Click Test/Results for a version. The Proofing Version Testing/Results page is displayed.
