Rule Search

Content Manager Rules Search

On the Rules Search page, you can access functionally for creating a new rule, search for existing rules, and access the revisions interface for a selected rule.

To access the rules search page

  1. Click Content Manager in the main navigation bar. A secondary navigation bar displays.

  2. Click Rules in the secondary navigation bar. The Rules Search page displays.

To search for rules by specific criteria

  1. Access the Rules Search page.
  2. Enter or select at least one search term.
  3. Click Submit. Search results are display in a table that might span several pages depending on the number of results.

Points to note:
  • To narrow search results, enter information into more search fields. To expand results, remove information from some search fields.
  • You can use an asterisk to perform a wild card search. Enter one or more characters and an asterisk in a field, and then click Search. Results return all rules having the same leading characters in that field.

To search for all rules

  1. Access the Rules Search page.
  2. Click Find All. Search results display in a table that might span several pages depending on the number of results.

To access revisions for a selected rule

  1. Perform a rule search.
  2. Locate a rule in the results table.
  3. Click the linked rule name. The Rules Revisions page is displayed.

To create a new rule

  1. On the Rules Search page, click the New Rule link. The New Rule Setup page is displayed.
