The SAP Field Look Up control is used to extract the F4 search help from SAP, and it can be linked to one or more fields that have been captured on a Transaction script
The Winshuttle SAP Field Lookup control enables you to lookup values of certain SAP fields directly through a form. The Winshuttle Field Lookup control is in the Custom Controls. (You do not have to add it manually using Add/Remove custom controls.)
The Ws.SAP Field Lookup Control only supports those areas that generate a list of values, otherwise known as an 'SAP hit list', to choose from. Any F4 lookups in SAP which require a further restriction on the range (for example, a Company Code search) are not supported by this custom control.
Important Note: Winshuttle SAP Field Lookup controls should not be removed from your controls manually. If the control is removed, you need to reinstall Winshuttle Designer.
Once the control has been placed on the form, the user can right click & select SAP Field Look Up Properties. Under the SAP Field Look Up tab, the user needs to specify the following parameters.
- Mapping Name- The transaction script being used should be selected from the drop-down
- SAP Field- The relevant SAP field should be selected in the drop-down
- Set Field- The user needs to specify the form field, that is linked to the field in SAP
