Using Adhoc Route Functionality

Configuring your Document Workflow Library

Winshuttle document workflows allow you to manage the lifecycle of documents, including routing them in your work environment. For example, you can use a document workflow to manage engineering specifications or standards compliance documents. You can check out, modify, then check in documents, and optionally enable versioning, so that all previous versions of your documents are saved on your Document Workflow site.

Winshuttle Document Workflow sites use your existing SharePoint permissions, groups, and columns values.

NOTE: The information in this section assumes that you have created one or more Document Workflow sites as needed for your environment. If you have not yet created one or more Document Workflow sites, see Creating Document and Form Workflow SharePoint Sites for instructions.

For information about using the Document Workflow web parts to participate in workflows, see the Winshuttle Workflow Participant Guide.
