Tutorial 2: Creating a form with SAP Web services

Tutorial 2 Overview

  1. Verify Script type is XML
  2. Create the workflow solution
  3. Add a Winshuttle Transaction Script
  4. Generate the InfoPath form
  5. Create your form in InfoPath
  6. Insert a custom control to call the Web service
  7. Save InfoPath changes in Designer
  8. Verify your form is working

First, you must open the script you've created and very that it is set to the type 'XML', because this is the only type of script supported for Winshuttle forms.

Do the following:

  1. Locate the script that you have created, and then double-click it. This will automatically open it in Winshuttle Transaction.
  2. Once the script is open, click Update Mapping.

  3. If the script isn't XML (see example below), click Change Source Type, and then select XML forms.

  4. Save your changes.
