Tutorial 2: Creating a form with SAP Web services

Tutorial 2 Overview

  1. Verify Script type is XML
  2. Create the workflow solution
  3. Add a Winshuttle Transaction Script
  4. Generate the InfoPath form
  5. Create your form in InfoPath
  6. Insert a custom control to call the Web service
  7. Save InfoPath changes in Designer
  8. Verify your form is working
  1. On the Winshuttle Designer menu bar, click Tools, and then click Manage Field Mappings.
  2. Add a Web service. In the Manage Field Mappings window, click Add.

  3. In the new Web Service window, click the Script Name menu, and then select your script.

  4. In the XML Group field, type a name for your XML Group, and then click OK.
  5. In the Output Values field, you should now see a list of Web service fields and Form fields listed (see following example).

  6. If you need to change any of your field mapping: Under Input Values, in the Form Field, click the arrow to open the list of the fields. Select the field you want to map.

  7. If all of your field mapping is correct, click Generate Infopath Form.
  8. On the Info dialog box, click OK, and then click OK on the Manage Field Mappings window to close it.
  9. On the Designer toolbar, click the Save icon.
  10. Type a name for your form, and then click OK.
