A Workflow site is a SharePoint site where your forms will reside. For this example, you will need to create a Workflow site for AlphaOne Bank called HR Forms. This is the site where the Time Off Request form will reside.
Creating the form workflow site:
- Sign in to the SharePoint site under which you want to create a Form Workflow site as Steve Designer.
- Under Site Actions, click New Site.
- Under Web Pages, click Sites and Workspaces. The New SharePoint Site page appears.
- In the Title box, type HR Forms.
- In the Description area, type Human Resources department forms.
- In the URL name box, type hrforms.
- In the Select a template area, click the Custom tab, and then select Process Controlled Form Workspace.
- In the Permissions, Navigation, and Navigation Inheritance sections, select the appropriate options for your environment. (Refer to your SharePoint documentation/help for details on these options.)
- Click Create.
Your new Form Workflow site appears. It uses a forms template, including the relevant Web Parts for Form Workflow.
