Additional account, installation, and application considerations
- To aid isolation, performance, and disaster recovery we recommend creating a separate web application for Governance purposes.
- The installer must be run on the active web front-end (WFE).
- Claims (NTLM) and Negotiate (Kerberos) are the supported authentication models for Foundation User Governance in a SharePoint 2013 environment.
- Classic/Claims (NTLM) and Negotiate (Kerberos) are the supported authentication models for Foundation User Governance in a SharePoint 2010 environment.
