Uninstalling Winshuttle Workflow 10.8/10.9
Note that by default, the uninstallation process does not remove the Workflow database, because it may result in the loss of important data.
Note: If you are using multiple front ends, uninstall Winshuttle Workflow Tools from all other front-ends before uninstalling the workflow.
Prior to uninstalling
- Make sure Sharepoint Administration Services and Timer Services are running on all Web Front ends.
- If you are uninstalling a Winshuttle Workflow version Workflow 10.8 Hotfix 2 or earlier: Manually restart the SharePoint Timer Services on all front-ends.
- Perform an IISRESET on all front-ends

Note: The Installer cannot perform an uninstall operation 'in parallel', i.e. it cannot be run on multiple Web front-ends at the same time.
- Open Windows Task Scheduler, and then disable the SVService scheduled task.
- Right-click the 10.8 Installer (winshuttleworkflow.exe), and then click Run as Administrator.
- On the Welcome screen, click Next.
- After the System Check completes, click Next.
- On the Repair or Remove screen, select Uninstall, and then click Next.
- On the Currently Activated Instances screen, click Next.
- After uninstallation completes, click Next, and then click Close.
Uninstalling the Workflow Tools
- Perform an IISRESET.
- Disable svservice task if it has been previously configured.
- On the WFE you are uninstalling the tools from: right-click the Winshuttle Workflow Setup program, and then click Run as Administrator.
- On the Welcome screen, click Next.
- After the System Check completes, click Next.
- On the Modify, Repair or Remove screen, select Uninstall Tools, and then click Next.
- After uninstallation completes, click Next, and then click Close.
- Perform an IISRESET
