4-4. Connect a drop-down list to an SAP lookup

Steps in this phase

  1. Create SharePoint Lists
  2. Use Query to populate lists
  3. Connect drop down lists to SharePoint lists
  4. Connect a drop down lists to SAP Lookup
  5. Create a Rule to extract vendor number
  6. Promote form fields to SharePoint
  7. Deploy and test

In this step, we're going to use the SAP F4 Lookup for a field called Planning Group.

  1. Click the Accounting Information group.

  2. In the Properties pane, click Advanced Elements.
  3. Click SAP F4 Lookup.

  4. In the Planning Group, click the SAP F4 Lookup element to open its properties in the Properties pane.

  5. In the Properties pane for the SAP F4 Lookup element:
    • Mapping Name: Set to XK01-XML-Mapping
    • SAP Field: Set to Planning_Group
    • Set Field: Set to Planning_Group

  6. Click OK to finish.
