Known Limitations for upgrades
Back to top- DocEx sites created in v10.x will no longer be supported.
- Users added to a Winshuttle Central site who do not have Winshuttle licenses (except those with Report admin and License admin roles) will not be migrated after the upgrade.
- An 'unused' Winshuttle Central 10.x site (i.e. no clients have logged into the site) cannot be upgraded.
- 10.x Audit Log data won’t be migrated to 11.1 during the upgrade.
- Bucket license ownerships are completed after the upgrade because the concept of ULAs owning bucketful of licenses is new to v11.1.
- Older SharePoint groups listed in the Mapping Foundation 10.x roles to Foundation 11.x roles table will still be visible after the upgrade on the Foundation site. Deleting older groups is not recommended, particularly if you have used these groups for other purposes. Deleting them could result in unknown behavior.
- Deleting users from the Manage Users page only removes the user from new (Foundation 11.x) groups. The Users will still be retained in the old groups (and will still be able to login).
- After migration, you should use the new Foundation groups for permissions (i.e. not the old ones).
- All 10.x (manual/AutoRun) ROI data will migrate to 11.1 with the Run Type Manual. It will be visible on the specific site.
- All 10.x (webservice) ROI data will migrate to 11.1 with the Run type 'Webservice'. This will be visible for all sites.
- Only 10.x AutoRun Query recurrence jobs will be migrated to 11.1.
- Backup/Restore, Query (One time) and Transaction jobs scheduled prior to the upgrade will not be migrated during the upgrade.
- Web parts added to the Winshuttle Central site will be removed after the upgrade.
- Web service logs that are not synced before upgrading will not be available after the upgrade.
- X.509 SAP Servers configured under Kerberos SSO section in 10.x need to be manually updated in X.509 section under SAP Logon details page after upgrade.
- The application setting Send email on post complete needs to be manually mapped and set to Enable AutoRun Success Email. (Its updated value is not restored after upgrade.)
